Waiting Room Controls

 Meeting Name

 Notifications

Click this icon to show the Notifications panel.

  Lock/Unlock Meeting

Displays the current status of the meeting (locked or unlocked).

When the meeting is locked: participants will be added to the waiting room and will be required to be admitted by the host or co-host.

When the meeting is unlocked: participants will be added to the meeting automatically.

  Meeting Duration Timer

  Your Details

Displays following information:

  • Status (Host, Co-Host or Participant)
  • User name
  • Audio Settings (mute/unmute)
  • Camera Settings (on or off)

  Join Meeting

Note: this button will be grey-out and disabled if the host/co-host has yet to join the meeting.

Audio Settings

Toggles your microphone on/off

Click the icon to select the microphone and speakers you wish to use during the meeting.

  Leave Meeting

Camera Settings

Toggles your camera on/off

Click the icon to select the camera you wish to use during the meeting.

In Call/Meeting Controls (Host)

  More Options Menu

Click the icon to open menu options including:

  • Chat
    • Opens chat with the selected user.
  • Make/Revoke Co-Host
    • Toggles the user being selected as a Co-Host.
  • Camera On/Off
    • Toggles the user’s camera on/off.
  • Microphone On/Off
    • Toggles the user’s microphone on/off.
  • Give Feedback
    • Displays a selection of emojis that can be used to send feedback to a user.
  • Send to Breakout
    • Sends the selected user into a new Breakout Room.
  • Remove Participant
    • Removes the selected user from the meeting.Note: this action will also block the user from being able to re-join the meeting.

  Share

Displays a sub-menu with the following options:

  • Share Screen
    • Displays options for sharing your screen with all participants of the meeting.
  • Share File/Link/Video
    • Share File
      • Allows for the sharing of a locally saved file with all meeting participants.
      • This file can be independently controlled and navigated by each meeting participant.
    • Share Link
      • Allows for the sharing of a web link with all meeting participants.
      • This link can be independently controlled and navigated by each meeting participant.
    • Share Video
      • Allows for the sharing of an online video link with all meeting participants.
      • This video link can be independently controlled and navigated by each meeting participant.

View Settings

Click the icon to open menu options including:

  • Grid View 
    • Displays all video feeds in a grid.
  • Speaker View
    • Displays the video feed of the active speaker and changes automatically.

Audio Settings

Click the icon to select the microphone and speakers you wish to use during the meeting.

Camera Settings

Toggles your camera on/off

Click the icon to select the camera you wish to use during the meeting.

Breakouts

Click to open the Breakouts panel which includes:

  • Participants Tab
    • Displays a list of the current meeting Participants (including Hosts and CoHosts).
    • Participants can be selected using the checkboxes and assigned to Random, New or Existing Breakout Rooms
  • Breakouts Tab
    • Displays a list of the current Breakout Rooms (if any) as well as the users that are in each room.
    • Also offers controls for moving users into different Breakout Rooms as well as returning them back to the original Main Meeting.

Notes

Click to open the Notes panel.

Notes can be taken during the meeting by entering text into the Add Note text field and then clicking the Add button.

Notes are only viewable privately and will not be shared with the other participants within the call/meeting.

Notes can also be downloaded to a .txt file by clicking the Download button.

Chat & Poll

Click to open the Chat & Poll panel to view:

  • Chat tab
    • This tab displays all current Chats that you have active with other call/meeting participants.
    • By default, all meetings start with the All chat group which includes all meeting participants.
    • To start a new chat with one or multiple participants, click the Create New Chat button.
    • Chat ext can also be downloaded as a .txt file by selecting the Download button.
  • Poll tab
    • The Poll feature allows a Host or Co-Host to ask all Participants in the meeting for feedback.
    • To create a Poll, simply add:
      • A Question, plus,
      • A minimum of 2 Responses.
      • Then click the Start Poll button.
    • Once created, all Participants will be notified of the Poll.
    • Results from the Participant’s responses will be displayed within the Poll tab.

Participants

Click to open the Participants side panel which displays information about all call/meeting Participants, including:

  • Participant name
  • Status (Host, Co-Host, Participant)
  • Audio and video settings

The Participant side panel also includes controls for turning Participant’s camera and audio feeds off and on during the call/meeting.

  Raise Hand

The Raise Hand feature enables Participants to gain the attention of Hosts and Co-Hosts. Once a Participant’s hand has been raised, the Host/Co-Host will receive a notification.

The Host/Co-Host can then choose to enter into a Chat with the participant or to ignore the request.

Waiting Room Controls

 Meeting Name
