LOAD A DATA MODEL
Overview
On the Data Model blade, Users can load and view a Data Model within the 3DB Model Space. A User can load the entire Data Model or alternatively, load one or more Node Groups or Node Types.
Your permission settings may result in some menu icons not being visible.

Loading the Data Model

Select Database | Data Model from the menu to open the Data Model blade.
Select Database | Data Model from the menu to open the Data Model blade.
Select the Display all Nodes icon from the Data Model toolbar.
The entire Data Model is displayed in the 3DB Model Space.
User assignment to different Function Groups may result in some nodes not being visible when the Data Model is loaded.

Loading Node Group(s)
To load one or more Node Groups into the 3DB Model Space:

Select Database | Data Model from the menu to open the Data Model blade.
Select Database | Data Model from the menu to open the Data Model blade.
In the Nodes pane, single click over a Node Group. All nodes for all Node Types within the selected Node Group will be displayed in the 3DB Model Space. Single click additional Node Groups to add more nodes to the 3DB Model Space.
When loading more Node Groups, the default ‘Append Mode’
means any Nodes currently displayed in the 3DB Model Space will be retained.
To load more Node Groups and replace Nodes currently displayed in the 3DB Model Space, select the Toolbar icon to change from ‘Append Mode’ to ‘Replace Mode’.
In the Nodes pane, single click over a Node Group. All nodes for all Node Types within the selected Node Group will be displayed in the 3DB Model Space. Single click additional Node Groups to add more nodes to the 3DB Model Space.
